Nice camp sites at this state park, with clean restrooms and showers. The board walk is interesting and accessible to the public. Saw a nice selection of alligators, waterfowl, insects, and plant life. Getting in and out of the campground was convenient and easy. Gate staff were helpful and friendly. They were easily able to help me make reservations by phone, and made sure I knew what to do once I arrived, since we arrived fairly late in the evening. Highly recommend!
The park is wonderful. Large spaces wide roads. Friendly people .Clean! We can't wait to come back
The park itself is a definite 5 Star but the sign to get “in” the park is undersized and to close to the entrance. Google maps takes you to a “closed” entrance which makes you drive the length of that part of the highway, come back and cross traffic
Smelled of poo when i got there, smelt worse when i left.
This was an absolutely wonderful place, clean and secure. Excellent employees
