McVeytown Original Italian Pizza

We love coming here! They never disappoint! We got the Buffalo Chicken Planks and a cold sub and of course we had to get the fried pickles for appetizers!😃

I was staying at an Airbnb nearby for the Penn State game this weekend. We were heading back from the game after a long day with 2 tired kiddos and we had the idea to order from the OIP but saw they closed at 8 and at 7:30 we were still 50 minutes out. I called and told them the situation and asked to pay by card and if they could leave it out back of my Airbnb. Instead, they did me one better and they stayed late and kept the food hot for when we got there. This was such a great gesture and way to end our day. And the best part was the food was great! I am from Long Island and New Jersey so I can be critical on Italian food but everything we ordered (pizza, wings, chicken parm hero) were all great. It really hit the spot after a long day. 5 stars!!!

The subs are delicious. The bread they were made in was so soft and not chewy. Wings were big. Very clean place, and great service. Definitely will be going back.

If you travel or live close please enjoy the flavors, you eat a slice of pizza here and still taste it (and it's good) an hour later. It was the same when I had house salad. This has to be the best restaurant that I know of.

This OIP is the best. They still stack their subs with meat. The prices are reasonable. The staff is so friendly and prompt.
