Stopped in on way back from motorcycle trip to NY. They were closing at 8 and we were there at 7:50. Matt greeted us and was happy to seat us. We had the cheeseburger and it was the best burger I have had in a long time. Perfectly cooked and fresh made tangy mustard was icing on the cake. Then we spoke to Matt and it was such a pleasure to learn more about his story and the restaurant. I highly recommend trying this place out. I will certainly be back to try more selections.

Wow. The ratings aren’t lying. My husband got the loaded griddle rice and it’s one of the best things we’ve ever eaten haha. I got the bacon sandwich. The menu read “yummy bacon” and it was very accurate. The lemon mayo really brought it together. The owner is super nice and running the entire show. Great experience overall and we will absolutely be back!

I couldn’t decide between the chicken breast platter and the loaded griddle rice, so I asked both a friendly customer at the bar and what seemed to be the owner/chef for their recommendations. I ended up going with the loaded griddle rice topped with chicken breast—and wow, it was absolutely delicious! Every bite felt like a party in my mouth. I had a few hours to spend in the area after dropping my partner off at a funeral, and since we were three hours away from home, I searched Google Maps for the best-reviewed spot nearby. I’m so glad I found this place. Even though I couldn’t eat inside because I had my giant dog with me (and I didn’t want to leave him in the car), the staff was kind and accommodating. Absolutely delicious food, made with fresh ingredients. Warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner greeted us, prepared and served our food, such a personal touch! And when we were leaving, he actually came outside with the small take-out container that my daughter had forgotten on the table. How amazing is that?!! Also - don't forgot dessert!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! 😎

Was out for an impromptu Friday supper. Started out for the pub in Norfolk but due to a show at Infinity they were packed and we were hoping for a quiet meal. Headed to North Canaan with no destination in mind. After we crossed the tracks we saw this cozy looking little market just past Roma. After driving up the street we decided to give it a try. From the minute we opened the front door we knew we made the right decision. Matt greeted and sat us. The menu had really great choices! Once our meals arrived, it happened, we experienced “yuminess”. The food was fabulous. We shared a bread pudding for dessert and more “yuminess”. If it wasn’t closing time we could have spent more time chatting with Matt. We will be back, that you can count on.
