If there was no stars, that’s what I would have put!!! My mother is a diabetic, blind, and has no feeling in her feet. Her legs gave out and She fell in the bathroom tonight!! ( Mind you, this woman knows her body She pays attention to everything ) well we ended up having to call the ambulance and having to take her into Farrell hospital. The woman was down right the rudest person I have ever met in my 43 years of life!!! I have never In my life, heard somebody talk to a woman the way she talked to my mother tonight!!! Two operatives for McGonigle performed a transport of my friend, from UPMC Farrell to UPMC Jameson for surgery. I was hospitalized myself, 5 doors from her room. As they passed by I ask them to pause so I could say goodbye. They refused to linger for 15 seconds, even ignoring the pleas of staff. Rudeness is not necessary! Especially when they charge the rates they do.

I needed an ambulance back in November while at work in New Castle, when I had a mini stroke. It took over 20 minutes for them to get there. Then they had me walk to the ambulance and I fell trying to get up in it. I've known the family forever and never expected such horrible treatment. One of the workers for the client I was working with couldn't believe how unprofessional the crew was. He didn't think I should have gone with them, because he didn't feel they were up to the standards he thought were needed. He actually took better care of me then they did. Last May 3rd, I called an ambulance because my step son wasn't feeling well (25 years old), he was breathing funny, wasn't able to walk very well and was slurring his words. McGonigle came and diagnosed him with severe anxiety attack. He kept asking for a drink (he was drinking ALOT), and they put his water across the room and had them breathing slowly with them for about 20 minutes then gave him a breathing (albuterol) treatment. No blood pressure, blood suger levels, or heartrate was taken, only pulse ox (which was fine). Told my 10 year old that his brother needed to relax and go play outside with him and he would be fine. My wife had to be taken by ambulance Monday thru Friday for two weeks to her radiation treatments for cancer, she has had to go to the ER many times over the last 6 months and almost every time we have been treated with the utmost respect! These people truly care about what they are doing and I will never use another service if I have a choice! We have only ever ran into one of their drivers who was a jerk out of all the people we have dealt with! Thank you Mcgonigle for all you have done for us!
