McDonald's

My friend and I made pick up orders and sent our friends up there to pick up. We live 5 minutes away and 40 minutes later I called them to see if everything is good and both of them are confused because the orders are wrong and none of the workers know what's going on. They just keep going around in circles like they have no idea how to do their job. I had to call the store to see what's going on and the guy who answered the phone didn't really know what's going on. It's simple. You get the order. You make the order. You put it in the bag. This place has really gone to shit. The place is trashed, like literally disgusting.. we have tons of pictures after having to go inside after 45 minutes but this picture really sold it for us. Another update.. my friend just got back over an hour late

I usually wouldn't rate a McDonald's, but this is the only one I will go to now. The staff are always so nice, especially the excited guy that typically runs the drive through speaker. Food is always hot and fresh, and the milkshake machine has never been down in my experience! Usually I have the tiniest amount of wait at the second window - but only because they are always wrapping up on finishing making my food fresh, and it's typically like 2 minutes, if even.

Whitmore Lake Rd McDonald's has the oddest layout of any McDonald's I've ever been inside. It's not user-friendly and there are zero menu boards except if you use the kiosks. The workers don't pay attention to whether someone is at the counter wanting to order, partly because walls are blocking their view, as I saw happen to another customer waiting. The employee who handed me my food was friendly. One of my Grinch meals was missing fries, so that wasn't great. I wanted them to stay hot while I drove in the cold, so I didn't check the boxes before leaving. Lastly, someone was mopping the entire floor during the lunch rush and whatever solution they used was super slippery. I nearly fell, although I was wearing good winter boots. I don’t know why I keep coming back here I guess it has something to do with the fact that it’s conveniently located after picking our grandkids up from school. However, today the straw that broke the camels back occurred… The ice cream machine was broken again, The sprite tasted like pure soda water and it took 18 minutes to get five orders of french fries and four small drinks. The store is tired and beat up looking from the inside and outside. Apparently, getting employees is a problem because that’s what the cashier told me. However, I counted five people behind the line, cooking and servicing others. This store gives McDonald’s a very bad name. I finally have learned never to come back to this location.
