McDonald's

The night manager here is horrible. We were traveling thru, and they didn't give us the fries we ordered. We went thru a second time and they served us cold fries. I went inside to talk to the manager, and he told me that he,"didn't test them, he didn't know if they were cold!" I'm pretty sure that quality control is part of his job, he should be making sure people receive warm fries. He never apologized, never tried to make it up to me, and acted like I was horrible for wanting a warm meal. I have never been treated like that at a McDonalds before.

It’s highly recommended to drive to the McDonald’s in Lincoln or Bloomington instead. Unfortunately, this location is the closest option, yet the quality and service have been consistently disappointing. There was no one in the drive-through and only one family ahead inside, but the wait was still 20 minutes only to receive cold, stale fries and a cold burger. Waiting itself isn’t the issue receiving cold food after such a long wait is what’s unsettling. Sadly, this isn’t a one-time experience but a recurring issue at this location. Having a McDonald’s right off the interstate in a small town like McLean is a big deal, and it’s disappointing that this opportunity isn’t taken more seriously. Order a double quarter pounder med meal and a regular quarter pounder med meal along side with a 5 dollar McDouble meal then ordered a med shake got the shake it was completely wrong so had to wait on a new shake by the time I got it , it was almost time for me to go back to work so I was cutting it close I didn’t check nor have the time to check my order over and when I finally did both sandwiches were wrong was missing a 4 pc nugget and when I called to let them know they had an attitude so I go back around 6:30 when I got off work to get my order fixed and they had an even bigger attitude and when the male manager gave us our food our bag is all ripped

Didn't bother to update hours for holidays. I placed an order in the app, only to get there and find nobody manning the drive through (even though it was all lit up, which is why I waited) and the doors locked. So now I guess I'll get a refund in a week or so. Maybe. Good for the employees for getting the day off, of course. But terrible management not taking a couple of seconds to update like every other store in about a 60 mile radius. If they're missing that detail, do you think your order will be accurate? Nope. Just keep driving to Lincoln or Bloomington if you want McDonald's. Thank me later.

Apparently the owners of this establishment aren't very patriot toward veterans in 2025. I was informed today that the restaurant wasn't offering any incentives to military personnel....so of course we ended up going to Freddies in Champaign IL. Freddies, much more military friendly, allows us to have any meal each completely for free. Shame on this location, and shame the owners. I wouldn't recommend if you have some patriotism in your blood!
