McDonald's

Food and service were great, and the restroom was clean. Service was fast and friendly. We stopped here while traveling from Atlanta to Charlotte because this location has a playground. However, when we arrived around 7:30 PM, the playground was already closed, even though the dine-in area was still open. The playground hours (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) were not clearly shown on Google Maps, which caused us to detour about 20 minutes off the main road. Clearer communication would help families plan better.

I am utterly shocked by the appalling state of the McDonald's in Belmont, North Carolina. When you think of Belmont, you usually picture a community with wealth, so it’s hard to fathom why a dining establishment would appear so neglected and unclean, especially one where people come to eat. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by litter scattered across the floor. The trash bins were overflowing, with refuse spilling out and patrons resorting to piling their waste on top of the overstuffed cans. It was impossible to find a proper place to dispose of trash. I documented this with photographs, which I will include in my review. After placing an order, customers receive a table number to signal where their food will be delivered. This location, like so many now, clearly prioritizes the drive-thru over customers dining in the restaurant. I placed an order inside through the app and waited more than 15 minutes for it to be brought out. Meanwhile I could count the cars coming into the drive-thru and saw 13 vehicles approach on one side of the building and depart on the other side between when I placed my order and when I received my order. The staff acts like they are doing the customer a favor just being there and they are both reluctant and rude about giving condiments, with one employee telling me she is limited by management to giving 4 ketchup packets with a large fries order. The dining area is relatively clean but there always seem to be a few tables strewn with garbage or spills, but the staff clearly doesn't

This McDonald's is great! We stopped here for lunch and everything was perfect! The dining arra was clean, food was hot, order was 100% correct, and staff was friendly and veryhelpful! What more can we ask.
