My companions and I had a great time here! The service was EXCELLENT. The server was great and they even let us stay after closing without any complaints. The food was also very tasty, although a bit pricey. I had the Cesar salad with sesame salmon which was delicious. The salmon was a bit salty but still tasty. My companion got the steak salad which she rated as a 8.7/10. My other companion rated her black salmon sandwich as a 9.5/10! Overall very pleasant experience.
Sunday afternoon watching PGA Championship. WAY too many flies inside the bar area. Burgers were very average for the price and buns were both burnt which wasn’t end of the world as we try to not eat too much bread. Hard to eat when you are shooing flies away; they could use a fly fan and close the door nearest the bar perhaps. No liquor license but plenty of beer choices. They are certainly trying as service was excellent and they comp’d the beer without our saying anything.
Had an event here recently & it was very disappointing. They had a total of 4 staff working for over a hundred people. The poor staff was obviously WAY overwhelmed & absolutely miserable. The food was served buffet style but apparently was "by guests choice." Meaning, the guests were supposed to pick a main dish... But it was all on the buffet with zero explanation. By the time the last few tables got to the food almost everything was gone with no replacements. Food wasn't even that good. Fish was over cooked, dumplings were cold & the risotto apparently was a main dish? Overall, I would NEVER have another event here & frankly wouldn't ever eat there again.
Easily the best fish and chips I have ever had, and I have family in London (and have been there), and the best flatbread pizza and French dip sandwich. VERY reasonable prices. The chef is absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend going here!
Frank is the man - very kind and helpful. Lunch was a lovely experience because of them. I would have left a fat tip if it was allowable.
