Mazzaro's Italian Market

Busy spot but the sandwiches are worthy! This is a large Italian market with a fresh grocery area up front with a fish and meat counter + so many fresh olive options, there is a wine shop attached in the center of the market and when you get to the back there is a sandwich line - grab a number for ordering food then grab a beer or hit the espresso counter and then wander the aisles for imported goodies. The back area has things like olive oil, balsamic, canned tomatoes and sauces, pickled things, tinned fish, dried pasta, polenta, fresh pasta & fresh manicotti (there is a spot by where you can watch them making the pasta), fresh sauces, sweet treats. There are take and bake items like lasagna/pizza (and many sooo many other things), fabulous deli with cold salads, cheeses, d.o.p. Prosciutt

Lovely large Italian Market with fresh meats, seafood, vegetables and fruit. There's a Cafe avaliable and lots of wine. I really enjoyed walking around and taking in all the sites. It's a lively place with a lot going on. I would highly recommend stopping in. Plan to take your time.

A bit on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it. Authentic Italian food and products are surprisingly hard to come by in the Tampa area, so this place was a real find. It was my first time visiting, and I was genuinely impressed—everything from the quality to the experience exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back.

A must check out spot if you're in the area. Ordering can be a little overwhelming if you've never been. But just grab a ticket and wait till it's your turn to order. Then try your best to stay out of the way 😂 - it's clear that this place is a treasure to the locals. Coming from PA where Italian hoagies are held to high standards, Mazzaros hit it out of the ball park. After your deli sandwich. Have an espresso at the coffee bar, and some Italian desserts at the bakery. 7 layer NY cookies, Eclair, Cannoli, Boston Cream pie, and many more delicious classics all baked in house. On top of all this, it's an entire Italian market/grocery store, so it has every need you could think of, and then some.

This place is something special. Went at around 1 PM for lunch and this place was packed. But after 2 ish it cleared out a bit. This place is a market / restaurant. That serves the best food I’ve had in a while. I ordered a Reuben sandwich(HOLY MOLY) was it hot, delicious, and such a big portion. Very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. I also had a taste of coconut cake that was very good also. I can’t wait to try other menu items. I highly recommend this place.
