Mayflower Seafood Restaurant

My family visited Mayflower Seafood Restaurant this past Sunday. This is the first time in several years. The seafood was delicious and plenty. My husband and I split a whitefish and shrimp plate adding a slaw and sweet potato. We enjoyed every bite and left completely satisfied!

Wow . I've eaten here once. And never again. It's amazing how you read the reviews and when the owner replies it always your fault not his. I say look at the parking lot anyday then ride by cornets that's the proof this place sucks. Cornets is always packed. Great food and service. This place is a joke hahahahahaah. Couldn't pay me to eat here

We had reservations for a group of 50, it grew to 65. Christen and her crew graciously took excellent care of us. The food was fresh, the drinks were filled and it was a wonderful time!!! Thank you so much!!!!

My family went here early afternoon on a Sunday and the food was really good. The waitress had great customer service. Even the owner stopped by our table to greet us. It had been a while since I visited this establishment but I happen to be in the area and wanted some good seafood. Well, if you are ever in the Rural Hall, visit Mayflowers…it is really good.

Pros: Overall great food. I’ll drive miles out of the way and past 3-4 other seafood restaurants to go to this Mayflower! The fresh and hot hush puppies are to die for. The fried oysters are the juiciest, plumpest and best l’ve ever tasted most times. Tables are always clean. This location is definitely better than All other Mayflowers in North Carolina, (W-S,Greensboro, Reidsville & Burlington). Cons: The fried white fish is great…most times. The tea is not the fresh brewed kind, and has always not been very good. The breading on the fried squash and zucchini is wayyyy tooo salty. Slaw is fresh, and the appetizers are great.Bathrooms could be cleaned better…
