Good food, good service. Friendly atmosphere. Plenty of parking. If you love seafood, this is the place to go.

With a pleasant, casual atmosphere, super nice employees, and fresh, delicious seafood, this is my favorite place to eat in Reidsville! One of the things I like the best about this restaurant is that the menu offerings are not complicated. You can just get one type of seafood, fried or broiled, or can get combinations of several, with less hidden calories than food at some fancy seafood restaurant chains. We ordered broiled jumbo shrimp, and a combo of broiled flounder, shrimp, and oysters, with sides of fresh salad, mouth-watering hush puppies, and large baked potatoes, and all the food was very satisfying. PLEASE INSPECT YOUR FOOD! (& this goes for any restaurant.) Review is neutral rating because this is the first I’ve experienced this…plus I should’ve stayed home and cooked but hey! I chose convenience. Lol Usually good food and exceptional service, but recently I ate there an experienced mold on my sweet potato. Attached are the images. (The young fella who answered the phone didn’t transfer me to speak with the manager to make them aware so in case it didn’t reach them, I decided to post my experience.)

We love Mayflower in Reidsville, NC! Food is always excellent as well as the service! Judy is our favorite as we see her and chat on Sundays. She is always pleasant and aims to please! Thank you to her and all the staff!

I visited Mayflower restaurant in Reidsville tonight 12/6/2025 for a pick up order. They got half my order wrong. I live in Eden NC. When I called, I was on hold for 6min. I spoke to Eduardo, the Manager/supervisor on shift. I explained to him I lived 20 to 30 minutes away and could he compensate for their mistake. He told me no. He was only willing to give me fries and Texas toast, that they had made the mistake on. I explained to him it was part of my meal and I would need to be compensated for my whole meal. I explain to him my food would be cold. If I was to come back tonight, he proceeded to tell me that was the only thing that he could do. I asked to speak to a manager over him.
