Maya's Brigadeiro Brazilian Sweets

Dance Meets Dessert Absolutely exceeded my expectations! I stopped by to try the brigadeiros and was blown away, not just by how delicious they were (rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet), but by the whole experience. The strawberry flavor was the first one I tried and instantly became my favorite. There are 12 flavors available, plus seasonal themed ones that go fast, so don’t wait! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I was thrilled to see that the owner is actually my hip-hop dance professor! It’s so inspiring to support a woman-owned business that brings so much heart and flavor to the community. The interior is colorful and pleasant to the eye. I’ve been away from the reviewing game because I don’t like writing negative reviews and there’s been nothing good write about… now. OMFG. If you have not tried brigadeiros you have not lived. Stop reading this right now and go to Maya’s. She wonderful. The place has dedicated parking, and the brig is seriously, literally the BEST sweet I have ever had. I’m not going to waste your time with pseudo-foodie bullshit. Just get down there and buy as much as you can.

Maya the owner was such a delight to communicate with over social media. We received our Valentine package yesterday. The flavors were so rich, creamy and delicious. My entire family really enjoyed these freshly made sweets. It was our first time having Brazilian sweets and definitely won’t be our last! Thanks for making our day special.

My family came across Maya’s during a Brazilian event in Santa Clarita. We tried different spreads and they were all good! We were torn between coconut & coffee but we eventually chose coffee (voted by my 10 y/o). We also got a medium box with great assortment. Their brigs tasted so fresh you can tell they were made with love!
