Wonderful atmosphere if you are into laid back, off the beaten track places with DELICIOUS food. Outdoor eating and take out only with jazz music playing on their sound system. They catch fresh clams and oysters daily in the a.m., and you eat them in the p.m. Does it get any better? Also, the staff/owners are very nice! Can't wait to go back again!!!

What a hidden gem! Gorgeous view, great service, lovely ambiance. Sadly they were out of oysters when we went, which had been our goal, but we went late Sunday afternoon. We had some steamers instead, which were great! Really looking forward to going back!

Very unassuming location but certainly a hidden gem. Been here a number of times for special events and raw bar. Will certainly make an effort to go through this winter whenever I crave oysters.

Fresh seafood! Friendly staff ! We bought shrimp and stuffed fluke they were awesome! Great place for oysters as well, didn't personally eat them but one of their regulars raved about them!

This place is an absolute treasure. After a night out in AC we stopped here on the way home. Shared a cold seafood platter. Everything was delicious. It doesn't get fresher than Maxwell Shellfish. Stop and grab a bottle of wine or some beers and hang. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to stop here again.
