Max's Donut Shop

Food- I had raspberry , chocolate and glazed donuts. Chocolate wasn’t great but loved raspberry and glazed. They were fluffy from inside and perfectly crispy from outside. Ambience- They need to really work on cleanliness and overall set up. Looked liked a warehouse. They had chairs and tables but none could be used. Some were stacked up and rest were used as storage.

How the DFW donut cartel works (because you care): There's a donut shop on every corner here. And they all get donuts from the same wholesaler, delivered at 3am daily... ...except for one. That one exception is called Max's Donuts in Allen. BEST DONUTS IN THE WORLD! Made on site. Always fresh, dense and chewy. Are they paying me to post this? HECK NO! Their donuts are like $1.19 and weigh a pound. Marketing.... they don't need it. Their product sells itself. Line out the door. They don't know who I am, but I've spent thousands there. They've been run by the same family forever. Good people. Better donuts. All made on site. I want to see them win. If you love small businesses run by great people and live within a 12 hour drive, go eat at Max's. They deserve your business. I've never

I'm not a donut person. But every time I'm near Max's I make a point to come and grab some!! Love this place so much.

Max's Donuts are likely the best tasting donuts, and their staff are awesome. They all welcome their customers with smiles and cheerful attitude. However, I recently learned they use a mixture of beef and pig oils when making the donuts. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, but if Max's Donuts use an all vegetable oil mix, I will be back picking up Donuts at 6AM

Literally the best glazed and other donuts I've ever had and I've been to many places around town and in other states. The service is wonderful and so are the staff. There is usually a line on the weekends and they do run out closer to closing time so make sure you get there early!!!!!!
