Max Ceylon Curry restaurant

Poor customer service and a disappointing experience. We were served food in plastic dishes while other customers received ceramic plates. Water was not provided until about 30 minutes after we started eating. The restaurant atmosphere was messy. Even as Sri Lankans, we would not recommend this place for dinning.

Delicious food with real Sri Lankan flavor! The curries are full of spice and taste just like home. Portions are big, prices are fair, and the staff is always friendly. Sometimes service is a little slow, but it’s worth it for the fresh food. One of the best Sri Lankan restaurants around! 🇱🇰🍛

The best place to have Sri Lankan food is in NYC. You have to take the Staten Island Ferry, and you can either walk or take an Uber. It's totally worth it. The food is not expensive, and the staff is very friendly. The food is exactly like in Sri Lanka, with the same spices and freshness. You must try the lamprais and chicken kottu. The portions are generous. The place is somewhat spacious, and I highly recommend it if you are near NYC. It's even better than Sigiri.
