Maui Fish House

Oh My Goodness! First I was a little leery cuz looks fast food!! Nope and then I saw the prepare Ono fish….yes but this fish and the rice and the coke slaw was on point. So good we ordered second meal for next days lunch cuz we’re in Mesa. Staff were amazing and friendly. Great atmosphere and made me feel like I was back in Hawaii. Great job people. Very clean you will not regret it. Come and have the best food ever. We will be regulars no matter the driver.

This place is super cute with both indoor and outdoor seating. I really love the surfboard tables, especially the little shark fin on top, such a fun touch. The whole place has a surfboard theme inside and outside, and it definitely gives off chill Maui vibes. The menu is simple and easy to read, which I really appreciate. The server slash cashier was super friendly and helpful, so ordering was easy. Along with the Fish Platter, I also ordered the Coconut Shrimp, fries, and a fountain drink. The food was really good. The fish was cooked perfectly and not dry at all. The Coconut Shrimp was amazing, and I loved the fries, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Ooo..I think I've found a new favorite spot. For quick service dining the shop was clean and cute with good music. The girl taking my order was friendly and welcoming. She gave me suggestions from favorites ordered. I went with her choice of the fish platter with grilled Mahi. I couldn't decide between a few flavors to add, but with her help I ended up with a delicious choice! Grilled Mahi with butter salt and pepper and the Asian flair sauce in the side. It came on a bed of brown rice with coleslaw. It truly was so tasty. If I wasn't needing to head back on the road I may have tried their Pina colada too.

Great restaurant located in a shopping center in North Scottsdale. The atmosphere is inviting and the employees are friendly. I ordered the fish plate that comes with rice and it was delicious. Made fresh to order, the portion was very generous and had a great presentation! I highly recommend Maui Fish House if you're in the area. Don't forget to try the Key Lime Pie, too!

Yummy! It worked out perfectly to meet a friend here who lives nearby. Turns out, she comes to this place all the time! She was born and raised in Hawaii and vouches that they are good! There was plenty of seating inside and out, and the prices seem fair. I got their signature fish platter with mahi mahi Cajun style. We also got an order of calamari and my friend let me try her fish tacos. Everything had great flavor and totally hit that island fish spot that I don’t always get to satisfy. I would be happy to come back!
