Matt's Bagels

As a Jersey Girl, I have often lamented leaving my NY/NJ bagels at the Connecticut border. New England has a lot: Lobster rolls, Chowdah, Patriots, Bruins and Red Sox; but has not up for the competition when it comes to bagels and pizza - until NOW! Matt brings his NY to Amesbury, MA!!! I tried a few bagels from a market in Amesbury, and a week later ordered more to pick up on my way to work to share with coworkers. Matt is very nice and ordering was super easy, and packed with care.Plus he makes Bialys! I live in Portsmouth where the bagels are either gross and bad or too fancy. It is awesome to be able to get a real bagel like the ones I grew up with in the tri-state area. It’s worth going out of the way and I need to place another order soon!

Grabbed a few bagels from the Haverhill Farmers Market. Even eating the next day, perfect soft but chewy texture and flavor is spot on. Hard to find a bagel north of Boston that isn’t just round bread.

Bought for the first time yesterday and it won't be the last ! Best bagel I have had in a long time. I am definitely going to find him again.
