Great restaurant with dimly lit edgy vibe. Wasn't too crowded even when there's an event going on in Lowell Park. Excellent location right opposite to the park. Drinks are pretty strong, food is tasty and service is quick. Towards the end of the day, the wait staff did seem a little tired, but they were still professional. Patrons, especially large groups can get a bit loud and a little unruly.

We have eaten here several times. We stopped for lunch during fall harvest in Stillwater. We arrived about 11:10; they had just opened. Server was good, she must have had tables inside as well. We ordered the cauliflower fritters for an appetize. They were good- HUGE!! A little greasy and needed some salt, but I love veggie and would try them again. For lunch, we ordered the brisket Reuben sandwich and the salmon salad; trefethen Chardonnay - a glass for each of us. My salmon salad was great and horrible. Salmon was grilled excellent and cooked to perfection, but the salad had way too much citrus- combined with the creamy goat cheese - it over powered the salmon. The beef brisket sandwich arrived COLD! We are assuming they had to wait for the salmon to be cooked and did not sequence

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a fun time at Matchstick with our group! We ordered a bunch of food to share — brisket, shrimp, Brussels sprouts, ribs, and a few desserts — and everything was absolutely delicious. The drinks were creative and super fun. The vibe of the place is great — really well-decorated and inviting. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We went here on a recommendation from family. We live in the Western Metro and travel based on the overwhelming recommendation. Our server Molly was on point along with the food and everything else. Definitely would be the worth the trip from the West.

The wife and I went for my birthday, the staff was extremely attentive and 100% on top of their game for the entire 3 hours we spent there. Best bourbon selection we've ever seen, the bartenders were very knowledgeable, the manager was friendly and awesome! The food was out of this world, we had an amazing experience and will definitely come back every time we are in the area
