Master Taco Sun City

Honestly, I was surprised by their low reviews and ratings because my experience has been great! I’ve eaten here twice and never had any issues. They offer daily specials and great Taco Tuesday deals for both street tacos and hard shell tacos. The prices are affordable, and everything I’ve tried has been on point — from the chicken roll tacos and cheese quesadilla to the carne asada street tacos, potato hard shell taco, and the consommé. The salsa bar is decent, the place is clean, and the service is always friendly and efficient. There’s a good amount of seating, but it can get busy on Taco Tuesday — worth the wait though!

Decided to try Master Tacos out as I was not pleased with the other local taco shops nearby. What a lovely hidden gem! It is tucked away in a quiet plaza and has a no frill, but CLEAN vibe inside. We went on a Friday evening around 6 PM and there were many other patrons dining inside and ordering for takeout. I stuck with my classic, some version of an Arizona burrito. Hubby got the Carne Asada burrito. Both burritos were quite large and stuffed with plenty of tasty morsels. The food tasted fresh and there was nearly zero grease and literally zero weird textured gristley pieces of meat. The guacamole was bright green and not oxidized or loaded to water it down. They also had a small salsa bar to pack your goodies to go. Prices are comparable to the other taco shops that are well known,

One order of fries can feed four people and they are really good. Shrimp was very fresh and flavorful as was the fish, just not enough of it in the burritos but that's inflation The green sauce at the salsa bar is really good but watch out for the Serrano onions cause they'll blow your ears out. The carrots had a good kick too

Delicious and the portions are huge! Always on my list when I’m in town! Surfing Bowl is my favorite. There are shrimp and carne asada under all that cheese and chipolte deliciousness!

Their Taco Salad is to die for!! So much I could not finish it. The flour tortilla was nice dr and crispy and filled to the brim with meat, guacamole, cheese, and pico. I definitely recommend!
