Masala Mantra Indian Bistro

We decided to have lunch at Masala Mantra and opted for the lunch special which included a samosa, dal, choice of entree, basmati rice & naan. I chose chicken tikka masala & my husband opted for lamb curry. You have a choice on the level of spice with the entree. The food was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Great experience. We will definitely return when we are ack on HHI ext year.

This place is not only well decorated and clean, but the service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing!! Delicious flavors danced in my mouth the whole meal. From the samosas, mojito, and garlic naan, to the tiki masala and rice. Everything blended so well. The spices were spot on for Indian food. You can opt in for more heat or less. The green sauce is PERFECT!! Come hungry and leave satisfied. I hope this place gets lots of traffic and stays on island. The prices are reasonable. I hope they stay that way.

I stopped by for a solo date and honestly left more satisfied than ever! I ordered the lamb biryani and samosas, and they were so good, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The lamb was super tender! and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The staff was incredibly (manager) kind and made sure I felt welcomed the whole time, even treating me to dessert, which was such a sweet surprise. This place is exactly the change this boring town needed. Amazing food, great vibes, and even better hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!

Overall, a great experience! We tried the Dal Tadka, Falooda, Fried Rice, and Onion Bhajiya. The ambience was peaceful, with pleasant music playing in the background. The Dal Tadka was especially well-made and flavorful. However, the Onion Bhajiya was a bit too oily, and the ice cream in the Falooda could’ve been better. Despite these minor issues, everything else was enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this place though a couple of areas could use some improvement.

We tried the Anda Curry and Dal Tadka and were pleasantly surprised by how authentic and flavorful they were. The Anda Curry had rich, homestyle spices, and the Dal Tadka tasted comforting and perfectly tempered. The garlic naan was fresh and soft, and everything felt like real Indian home cooking. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the place had a warm, relaxed vibe. A great find in Hilton Head, would happily come back!
