Masa Sushi

We are moving to the area and stopped here on our first day, discovering the perfect place for sushi! The sushi is so fresh, the flavours are outstanding and the amount just right. We usually order the sushi combinations with miso soup and salad and every type we’ve tried is absolutely delicious. We haven’t tried the ramen yet, but given our experience, I’m sure it won’t disappoint! This will continue to be our favourite ‘go to’ for a meal.

When we want sushi, we generally head to **Masa Sushi**. It has been our go-to for years, and a recent visit reminded us why. We were pleasantly surprised to see the menu has expanded a bit to include bao buns and wonton soup. As I noted to my wife during the meal, “dumplings are nature’s perfect food.” Obviously a joke, but also not really. A delicate wrapper, savory filling, comforting broth. Masa has absolutely nailed both the dumplings and the bao. They are thoughtful, well executed, and very welcome additions. The fish is always fresh and well prepared. That consistency matters. First time experience here and it was great. Came here after playing fox hollow since I wanted some sushi and ramen, and I don’t regret eating here. I was kinda disappointed on the size of sushi since it was smaller compared to other places, but there was only one sushi maker so I guess it was a way for him to get to other costumers faster. The miso soup was good along with the salad. The ramen was great and the soup base for it was tasty. The service is very nice and I like how its a family business. Brings more of what to expect.
