Incredible. Everything from start to finish was excellent. Coming in was a little confusing (park in the back, walk up the alley to the door on the right in the front), but once inside, we were immediately made to feel like we were at home. Staff was great, called me by name when we came in (memorized our reservation info that we had an infant) and gave us a perfect spot for my wife and I and a car seat. Appetizers, the specials (currently themed around the Winter Olympics location in northern Italy), Desserts and drinks were all on point. Everything clearly used great ingredients and was fresh. Price was more than reasonable for the quality and ambience. Literally can’t wait to go back again. Not sure if we will bring our other children next time, as it was definitely a nicer more cozy

I first went to Marzano Italian Restaurant a few years ago and absolutely loved it, so I’ve been wanting to get back ever since. Last year I even made birthday reservations, but my partner ended up being really sick for quite a while and we had to cancel our plans. We were finally able to make it back tonight, and it was just as amazing as I remembered. The restaurant itself is so charming an old house turned into a cozy, intimate dining space. They also have outdoor seating for nice weather, which is where I sat last time (out back), and it’s such a lovely setting. Tonight I had the cacio e pepe and it was incredible simple, comforting, and perfectly done. I also mentioned in my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, and when we arrived there was a birthday card on the table

I’m picky when it comes to Italian food, but this place really blew me away! The house starter salad was so refreshing and flavorful! The scallop and black ink risotto dish I had was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. I also tried a bite of my friend’s lasagna and it was phenomenal! We ended the meal with tiramisu and creme brulee, both tasty! Service was friendly from start to finish. I highly recommend making reservation through OpenTable. The place gets packed often. Plenty of parking. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience at Marzano with my mother! honestly, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Tacoma. First off, the atmosphere is perfect for a cozy, intimate meal. The interior is classy and warm, which really sets the mood for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel like you’re somewhere special. The food? Absolutely incredible. You can tell that everything is made from scratch. We could tell the chefs really care about the quality of their dishes. The service was great as well. The waiters were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. I celebrated my 57th birthday here last Friday evening and I couldn’t have been more impressed! First of all our server, Katie D, was phenomenal; super sweet, attentive, very accommodating, great sense of humor and knowledgeable. What a treasure! Second, the food was incredible!! There were 9 of us and we ordered 6 different dishes and all were amazing. Best Italian in WA hands down. Third, the restaurant itself was absolutely adorable! Quaint, intimate inside with wonderful outdoor seating both in front and in back. And finally, the location has a really cool and groovy vibe (right next to PLU on Garfield Street). We’ll be back on a regular basis!
