Martin's Downtown

Martin’s Downtown is an awesome venue for live events and shows. The space has a great layout, solid sound, and an energetic atmosphere that makes concerts feel personal and immersive. It’s the kind of place where you can really feel connected to the performance. I recently went on December 26 and saw TVBOO, and he was absolutely amazing. The crowd energy, lighting, and overall vibe made it an unforgettable night. Martin’s consistently brings in great artists and puts on well-run events, making it one of the best spots downtown for live music and shows.

Wow, just wow! We visited Martin's yesterday for a late lunch. Having never been there before, we went hoping for a good experience. They exceeded our hopes! The country fried steak was the best I've ever had! This wasn't typical bar food. This was grandma but better cooking! Wow! Now this establishment has been around for 70 years. They have a lunch crowd, a bar crowd, and probably other crowds this patron isn't aware of - I say all that to say this - this place is SPOTLESS! Not just tables wiped, floor swept clean, but shining! The chrome under the barstools shone like the noon sun! And management? I met my friend here for lunch and cocktails, it was a great time! For appetizers we did chips, queso and salsa, and Thai chili wings-the wings were delicious. For entrees, I had the patty melt with fries, and my friend had the catfish. Both were everything we wanted, seasoned and cooked just right, not greasy. We also tried a few drinks, the Mic Drop was our fave. The real MVP however, was our server Paige. She’s such a sweetheart, and her passion and pride for the establishment shows. She was very helpful and honest when we had questions about the menu, and an issue with the mac & cheese (something tasted off) was quickly resolved without hesitation. Everyone is so friendly ~ staff and patrons alike. Marie was so welcoming! The ultimate hushpuppies with bacon and jalapeños is a must! 😋 traveled from Colorado specifically for a band and the venue was perfect for live music. We will definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our family members' birthdays at Martin's on last Saturday. We reserved the private dining room and everything was amazing. The decor, energy, food, and service were top tier. Many of us ordered the fried catfish and it was delicious! The drinks were just as good and everything was reasonably priced. The service was friendly, fast, and very accommodating. We enjoyed it so much that we wanted to stay longer. Lol. Our host, Brianna, was wonderful! She did an awesome job along with the rest of the staff. We will definitely be back. Family friendly place with great energy as well!
