Martha's Place | Buffet and Catering

We went on a Monday. No lines. The cornbread, collard greens and baked chicken was good. The baked chicken reminded me of the cooks at a country club I worked at. I had my mind set on Mac & Cheese and candied yams. They were out. Good experience. Thanks.

We went to Martha’s today for the first time in years. The food was decent and definitely well seasoned. Possibly a little too much salt and pepper in some items but still very good. The 2 stars isn’t for the food, as I said it was good. However, I mentioned to the receptionist as we left the lunch was good but we came for the meatloaf which was not out during the 45 minute visit. She asked me to give her a moment, went to the kitchen and came back to say it’s coming out of the oven and gave me a small box to get some. I waited in line behind a few others and proceeded to cut some meatloaf when a gentleman came out and accused me of taking an entire loaf. In this small box for 2 people! I said others had gotten some already and I was cutting 2 pieces. I laid the spoon down and walked away

The food is always delicious and tasty. The selection is great -- fried chicken, baked chicken, pot roast, mac n cheese, cornbread, yam, rice and gravy, green beans, collards, salad, fruit, dessert, etc. I always leave full and Happy. Great tasting food with a great atmosphere. Make sure to include a tip when you pay for the buffet so that you can get the server to get your drinks.

Everything about this restaurant was pleasing easy going and the food fresh and delicious. It was my anniversary we spend a night at casino, looking through book we had picked up at welcome center we came across Martha's place we decided to try best decision we made. GREAT

Martha's place is well known in Montgomery and we love our meat and three places. The food here is pretty good but for a meat and three buffet the options are limited. The chicken was a little dry on my last visit but had good flavor. The sides were great with a little seasoning. The service was pretty downtrodden as everyone seemed like they didn't really like their job. The health score could use some work to get up from 86, and 86 is about what the men's restroom felt like as the heat in there was just a cookin. My grand ma would be remiss if you didn't give them a try but I would still prefer other spots personally. Didn't love having to wear gloves to prepare my food either but I guess I get it
