Im a disabled veteran, so a nice gentleman at the bar named Leon wanted to buy me dinner. I told him I was only there for a few beers. He told the owner's daughter who was waiting on me that he wanted to get my first three beers instead. She said okay. Three hours later, Leon paid up and left. At that point the owner's wife was manning the bar and the owner's daughter was hanging out at the bar with friends. I asked for my check a short time later. All of my beers had been mistakenly charged to my bill. When I alerted the owner's wife to the mistake, she said she hadn't charged Leon because her daughter never told her to. I said isnt that your mistake? The daughter then lied saying Leon never said that. He's clearly a regular there. A very nice and generous man who was paying for all veter

Make sure you keep track of your own tab because they will charge you for drinks from someone else's tab and then humiliate you in front of everyone when you tell them you don't want to pay for them. This was the owner's wife and daughter who outright lied about it. My husband is a disabled veteran who wound up just paying it because he has honor, unlike the thieves who run this establishment. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Opened Dec 2020, finally came into visit and try a new East Windsor restaurant. And I'm so glad I did. The staff is warm and welcoming. The place its self and cozy and rustic with a touch of cuteness. I enjoyed the collection of antiques but it does not overwhelm the space. There is a full-service bar and restaurant menu. One thing I love to see is.. SOUP ALL YEAR LONG!!! Of course on the spring day covered in snow I had to try the soup which was a fresh made "loaded potato" I also ordered a Reuben sandwich. You can taste that they make the corned beef and the dressing. Im glad to see another place to eat in my town, that makes everything and taste great.

Had such a great experience at Mark’s Tavern. Very friendly owners. Rustic on the inside and lots of outdoor seating & games outside. Had one of the best Reuben sandwiches I’ve ever had here! You’ve gotta order it when you go!

A little bit dive but just love it, the owner and daughter are really really nice, the Rouben is the best of the best (sorry that I missed the photo but was so hungry, lol), cocktails are good and cheap, I recommend this place 100%!
