Marketplace Café at Nordstrom

I dined at Nordstrom Cafe while in Spokane on a business trip. It was lunch time, but since it was a weekday, the restaurant was pretty empty. But I liked the space, it was very clean and spacious. I ordered Wild Salmon W/ Roasted Vegetables & Saffron Couscous and asked hot water w slice of lemon. The couscous salad was a little sweet for me, but the combination with the sockeye salmon was good. I would like to stop by here next time I come to Spokane.

I was the only one in the cafe yet not checked on one time. Why can’t they open the blinds on the windows, dark & dreary even on the sunniest of days. Do not recommend.. would love to support but zero customer service here.

If I can give this place a zero I would. It was very disheartening it was very disheartening it was very disheartening seeing him belittle his employee. Nobody deserves to be treated the way he was treating that Wonderful woman. I won't be going back. I don't want to go to a place we're the management puts their employee down and talks so mean to them. He ignored me when I was asking a question. It made me cry how mean he was to her and me. I wouldn't recommend this place due to how mean the guy managing it on the morning shift treats people. Super sad to see. I am a physically disabled person.

If you’re a Nordstrom regular (at any location), this is much like the other Nordstrom cafes. Slightly overpriced (but everything feels that way nowadays), a bit unconventional in how the service works, but if you know this going in, you won’t be disappointed. I got there at noon on a Thursday with my toddler and baby. Ordered the kids Mac n cheese. It came with milk and a fruit cup. The pasta was a generous portion and tasty. I ended up eating half while my toddler ate a third and baby had a sixth of it. It was $12. I paid with cash at the start so was never asked about a tip and didn’t see a tip cup but left a buck behind. (Not totally sure on the tip etiquette here. Wanted to leave something but we also didn’t make a mess and I stacked our serving ware, as is always do.) Very clean, qui

I saw an employee clearly not having a good day I believe her name tag said ryver,, and the coworkers treated her awfully. It broke my heart to watch this beautiful young lady break down and panic over something and watch her coworkers just continue to allow her to stay and basically just shrugged it off as nothing. Also your brownie sundaes are stale. Awful environment, certainly will not return.
