I stumbled across this gem, and I’m so glad I did! The seafood here is incredibly fresh—everything is cut, cleaned, and packaged right in front of you, which really gives confidence in the quality. It’s not a very large market, so it can feel a little hectic and crowded during peak times, but that just shows how popular it is. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you’re getting, and the selection is solid enough to find exactly what you need for a great meal. The staff is friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, whether it’s answering questions or giving recommendations. The atmosphere feels lively and authentic, making the shopping experience enjoyable. A great little spot for anyone who loves fresh seafood without paying premium prices!

Market Fisheries is my new favorite spot for seafood. They have an incredible variety of fresh options, and the quality is top-notch. I recently stopped in for some red grouper to make a Filipino dish called “inon-onan”, and it was exactly what I needed. If you're looking for a specific type of fish or just want to browse, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

My fish is always good. They always have whatever fish and or seafood that I'm looking for. Its always Crowded, but they get in and out in a timely fashion.

Love it! Small place, huge variety. Big selection of seafood. I grabbed some shark at only $5/lbs and my daughter found some frog legs! 🐸🦀🦞🦐🐟🦈

This place is truly a Chicago landmark! Everything is always fresh, service is always fast and efficient. I've been shopping here for over 20yrs and now across state line i travel from Indianapolis just to shop there!
