Mark & Toni's Coal Fired Pizza

We were first time customers tonight. Ordered by phone and picked up. We don’t live far at all and food was cold by the time we got home. Authentic pork gyro is not at all authentic. Tzatziki tasted like pure mayonnaise. Margarita pizza was floppy on the bottom and overwhelmed by the thick tomato layer. Chicken wings were lukewarm and had no flavor. Lamb kabobs looked questionable and sat on top of the sweet potato fries which were a huge pile of mush. Cheese pizza and Cesar salad were decent. Unfortunately we won’t be ordering again. $100 not well spent.

I’ve been getting pizza from here for over a year. Mostly, with little to no issues. However, the last two times they missed the estimate wait time by 20 minutes. This last time they completely forgot to make my pizzas and when I asked about it they realized they forgot the ticket on the board. Not usually a big deal but they didn’t acknowledge their mistake, just thanked me for being patient. And they clearly took the pizza out of the oven early because the dough was not to previous standards. They can afford to work on customer service. I’ll wait a year before going back.

Omg, they offered to make something dropped from the menu! THAT is good service! Plus their coal fired oven adds an authentic “Old World” touch to their pizza, cooking at a near perfect temperature. ROASTED CHICKEN WINGS! hadn’t seen those since i was a kid! Kissed by just the right amount of spices, you’re going to LOVE the wings!

We live right near Mark &Toni's but would definitely travel to visit if we didn't! We order a LOT because the food is always ready quickly and comes right out of the oven hot, and we love the people who work there. Everyone is kind and friendly and make us feel welcome even when only picking up! I have definitely ordered 20+ times and never had a bad experience. Onion rings and fries portions are GIANT and not too greasy! The coal fired wings are super flavorful and we get them 'kicked up' for extra spice! We like to get half and half pizzas and try different ingredients combos, this one is Hawaiian on half and garlic, capers, and basil on the other. Both incredible. Mark and Toni’s or, as I remember it, Brother’s Pizza. Pretty sure it’s the same family but different family members running it now. Anyway, the pizza is great and the coal fired (not fried) wings are delicious. Certainly not how this place used to be. Will definitely be ordering from here again for the great food.
