Mariscos El Guero - Upland

This is our second time here. First time had fish soup which was excellent, also tried mussel appetizers. Today a spicy Baja shrimp taco which was sooooo good and fish taco also very good. The food here has a truly Baja taste❣️ By the way I’m from Baja but have lived here for 25 years. Good job Guero❣️ Nora

Heard great things so I checked it out. Brought my mom and brother to try it with me 1. Service wasn't the best. Waitress was super nice but she didn't put my brother's food in and only brought out my mom and I's tostada and had to wait for his to come out after. 2. Idk if it's normal and that's how they serve it but I ordered a tostada and the just served the shrimp and and crab on a plate and gave me the tostada on the side. 3 They put avocado on the wrong tostada and when I told our waitress she brought me a small side of avocado but charged me for both..and I had to hunt down for napkins. Food Has great flavor , might go back to give it another chance but so far it's not for me.

Loved this place. We had their giant Micheladas that came garnished beautifully with two yummy shrimp. The oyster shooters we're so delicious, and the size of the oyster were perfect. They have this battered fried fish with spicy red onions. Every bite was crunchy goodness. I had the shrimp ceviche boat and my love had la sicaria which he said tasted amazing! All the food tasted fresh and full of flavor. I've been to the chinohills location and loved it. The upland location was on point! I'm definitely coming back again. The service was awesome. It was clean and welcoming. The food, just like the chinohills location, was fire!!! So glad this is close to home.

A to go order, the menu from online and in person do not match, The only flavor i got from the ceviche, Agua chillies, and muscles was old fish. Nothing really tasted fresh. Like it was a day or two old. Not worth the price. Oh and I ordered the precooked shrimp ceviche, and they gave me the wrong order, didn't notice till I got home. Servers were nice and they restaurant is clean.

I couldn’t stop talking about how delicious this place was after I left!! The mariscos were so fresh and full of flavor. From the Molcajete (cold) , the ahi -tuna which was one of my favorite ! Also the aguas chiles. The staff was so nice and friendly as well. I’m definitely coming back when I’m in upland . Located off the 210 and Campus. Stop by and check it out
