Mario's Ristorante Italiano

This scratch made food is absolutely THE BEST Italian food!!! We were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar/kitchen area where we could watch the masters cook! Wow! They know exactly what they are doing! This is a hidden gem in the 7-11 plaza on Madeira Beach. It’s a very small dining area and first come first serve, no reservations. Several wines to choose from, and the staff were so kind and thoughtful towards all of the patrons. The garlic bread and our chicken Parmesan was absolutely perfect! Thank you! We will be back! Closed Sundays and Mondays.

This is the best Italian cuisine i’ve had. especially for a costal restaurant. everything was amazing! could taste the culture. the soup of the day was like a chicken broth and tortellini, taste like home for me. the meatballs and sauce was incredible. perfect amount of zesty and sweet and meaty. (always get the sauce and meatballs bc everyone’s is different) the environment/vibes was homey and good. gives such a grandma/nonas kitchen. NOW THE DESSERTS WERE AMAZING!! The limoncello cake 10/10 and the tiramisu 10/10 this place just blew every restaurant around here out of the park! amazing and beautiful

Tiny place, Big flavor. Great service. I had linguine and clams with calamari appetizer. 2025 update: Went back to Mario's and they did not disappoint. I had the veal picatta and it was amazing. My beautiful wife had lobster ravioli and was very happy. Of course we had to get calamari, so good. Next time we are in the area we will return. Highly recommend if you like Great homemade Italian food.

This place deserves every 5 star review. I live in Pompano Beach and this place competes with places in Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas! I also respect its very few tables so they have time to perfect every meal for each individual. We showed up at 6:30 and the place was filled and we were blessed enough to get a table. Definitely stop here!
