Mario's Donut Restaurant

How have I lived in St. Charles for 10 years and have NEVER been here until this past weekend?! The service was fast, LOVE the vats of fillings and the chorizo tacos (with the sauce) were a must have. The apple fritters are the best I have ever had!!! I can not wait to come back! Be warned that right after I came in (9am) about 30 people descended on the place so it can get BUSY! The Mario's team took it in stride and handled it great!

Food was okay. I reccomend the Avocado test. You can Pick the bread that you want on it. Service was okay.I was trying to get recommendations but I didn't get any recommendations when I ask just that.Everything is good. The atmosphere is very relaxed , and it reminds me of the late eighties , early nineties. I can't recommend the fries.They weren't really that great , something about the texture and the temperature and the taste. Croissant, but I don't recommend it with a gyro.As breakfast sandwich because the meat does not seem proportional.

The food was too undercooked to be any good. Just avoid this place, there are so many other places around that are ten thousand times better. I’ll usually give a restaurant a second chance, but this is a rare exception. I will not be returning unless perhaps it is just for donuts only, but not the real food. This was a total waste of $20, I could have got a better burger and fries from a Burger King or some place like that for less than half as much.

My visit to Mario’s was a refreshing one. I was feeling some quick breakfast, but didn’t want to go to a fast food chain and decided to try a small family owned business Mario’s. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, and surprised how fast the service was with how busy the restaurant was. The dining room is large and open, and they even have a relaxing area for families with games and entertainment items. Mario’s has quite a large menu for breakfast and lunch, which made it easy to find something I’d like. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese texas toast, a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, a ham, egg, and cheese bagel, an order of fries, and a glazed donut to go. The texas toast, croissant, and bagel were hot, delicious, and satisfied my itch for a good breakfast. The

1st time in for lunch, Very friendly service, food came out fast, and oh my was it DELICIOUS!!
