Marina Bar and Grill

The crown jewel of Discovery Bay. You’re going to love this place. I went 2 times before doing this review. It’s right on the delta. Outdoors are cool and breezy. The host greeted me and I was sat immediately. Service was great. The food was good. I’ll rate each dish 1-5 Nachos 5/5 very large portion. Loaded! Salmon 4/5 moist & the mashed potatoes are 🔥 Dessert 5/5 perfect portion and flavorful Wings 3/5 average , nothing special Zucchini 5/5 best thing on the menu. Tiny portion Pasta 3/5 not much sauce. Not seasoned well. Parking is adequate. Bathroom was clean.

This restaurant recently got under new ownership and went through serious remodeling. It looks and smells great! We really liked what we ordered: salmon and garden salad. The salmon had an amazing flavor and I’m not a big red pepper sauce lover but this particular sauce was mouthwatering! The service was great! We came with the dog and even that there was no dog menu the server brought our dog unseasoned burger patty! I wish they can add it to the menu in dog menu section at some point. The location of the restaurant is amazing! We enjoyed watching boats coming in and out. Everything was absolutely amazing! Definitely will come again soon!

We had a great evening with our friends. The food has very good! We enjoyed the special coconut shrimp and calamari. I would say the shrimp could use a little bit more coconut flavor. The fish and chips was very good too. It's a bit different with a planko crust, yet it was a nice change of pace. My friend has the Philly Cheesesteak. Three thumbs up from him. I will definitely visit again. Much better than before. It has been remodeled and under new management.

Friendly and efficient customer service. Coffee was warm though. Food was delicious. The Fish and chips tasted fresh. There's lots of outside seating facing the Marina but not a lot of parking if you're coming in by boat on a busy day. Comfortable and cool inside to enjoy your meal especially on a hot day.

The view of the water is amazing! The bar has great drinks and service. The food varies. Sometimes it’s really good and other times it is not as good as it is other times. The service is always good.
