Marie's Dominican Cakes

I’ve been coming to Marie’s Dominican Cake for all of my special occasions — and they never disappoint. For the past 3 years, I’ve gotten my birthday cake here, and it’s officially my favorite spot. I live in South Jersey and drive all the way up here just for cake. It’s that WORTH IT. Their cakes are always so fresh, soft, and perfectly sweet. My absolute favorite is the pineapple filling, but I also love combining Dulce de Leche & strawberry. Highly recommend!

This cake shop is truly a hidden gem! The love and care that goes into every cake is undeniable— moist, fluffy, and full of that rich, authentic Dominican flavor that’s so hard to find. The owner is sooo sweet and makes sure you are satisfied with your cake! She helped bake my sister’s engagement cake and we loved it so much! Will recommend to all 💕🍰

I needed a last-minute lifeline and called to see if they could have a cake ready in 30 minutes. Mamma came through and whipped one up for me on the spot. It was decorated nicely, cost $40, and was exactly what I needed. She was super friendly and made the whole process quick and easy. In and out with no stress. Highly recommend this bakery, especially for last-minute birthday saves.

I went to Marie’s Dominican cake to order a cake for my daughter’s birthday. I ordered the cake as the flavor red velvet, and they told me that I would have to pay more because its a flavor that not vanilla. Once I cut the cake, I noticed that the cake looked like the red coloring dye was splotchy and was lighter than how the red velvet cake is supposed to be. I tried the cake and the flavor wasn’t like red velvet, it was mostly tasted like food coloring. It was inedible, and also the frosting between the layers had a strange taste to it. The cake in itself wasn’t moist and spongy as other cakes. It was a truly a horrible experience and I wished they would have told us that they couldn’t make red velvet cake so we would have brought the cake from a different bakery that can make a real red

I went today just to ask if they had a piece of guava cake, and the lady named Maria gave it to me for free, since I wanted to try it , and omg , it was delicious and very fresh, and she was a very kind sweetheart, And the place was very clean and neat, great experience
