Maricela's Mexican Grill

My friends and I (a group of four) recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. To start, we waited over an hour for our food—even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. During that time, our waitress walked past our table multiple times without acknowledging us or checking to see if we needed anything. We had to repeatedly flag her down just to order drinks, place our food order, and eventually request the check. When our drinks finally arrived, they were overly syrupy and undrinkable, so we sent them back to be remade. It took so long to get replacements that our food actually came out first—and it was dripping onto the floor as it was being carried to our table. We enjoyed the food at this restaurant. However, there seemed to be some sort of issue with the staff and service. It took a little ng time to get seated, have our order taken, be served, and pay the bill. Not normal for Mexican restaurants.

Food was ok…… there was either a piece of plastic or nail in my food….. and hair. Service could be better if the waiter came back and go refills our drink. We got our food and never saw him again. Had to find him. Was ok… but needs massive improvement.

I dined at this restaurant yesterday, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The food was poor, and the customer service was just as lacking. I ordered the birria tacos, which were not good at all and were sent back. The waiter initially stated the meal would be comped, but that did not happen. The cost itself is not the issue, it’s the lack of integrity and accountability, especially on top of the subpar food and service.

I ordered the chili relleno, it didn’t really have any Jalapeños or anything at all. It looks for like crushed meat with cheese. 😓 Overall I didn’t really enjoy anything, the Horchata was really warm and the taste of cinnamon was SO STRONG! Wouldn’t come here again.
