Maria's Mexican Restaurant

I have been here a couple times. I usually love chimichangas, but they put beans inside it. I specific asked them not to put beans inside the chimichanga, but they put refried beans inside it. Apparently you need to very specifically say no refried beans.

What a refreshing place for delicious Mexican food! Everything I ate was bursting with flavor and fresh, vibrant and delicious in my mouth and my shirt (whoops) from the moment I walked in the easy going laid back vibe was just what I was needing . Tastefully painted and comfortable. You could get a wheelchair chair in and around. I did see high chairs available and an array of drink and menu choices! Edwin was a phenomenal server! He gave great recommendations and was attentive but not overly attentive. Allowed perfect space for eating and working without knowing it! Keep him on! Thanks for a great midday break! Thought we would try something nee tonight. Cute restaurant. Sat us quickly Took our order timely and food was served hot in less than 10 minutes to the table. Chips and salsa were good. Added the shredded cheese to make it better. The large combo platter was a really good portion. Enough for two meals and very fresh. I ordered the chili Verde. This is where the deduction came in my review on food. Flavor was good. But there were so many beans I thought she gave me the wrong order. There were two small pieces of pork in the half of the burrito I ate. Portion was also large enough for a second meal. Hoping there is more pork in the second half.

Good food! I had the chicken enchiladas and they were great! Good for big groups or small groups. They had some good lunch specials :)

Guys I just had the best enchiladas de Mole, that I forgot to take a pic before eating 🤣 I was craving them so bad recently, the texture, the flavor was absolutely perfect! And such a perfect balance in spice! The environment felt good! If their Mole was good! I’m sure the rest of their food is good! Definitely recommend this place! I was impressed and satisfied! 😋
