Maria's Cocina Mexicana

I brought my mixed ethnic family to this restaurant. It's 3 days ago we ordered the mole plate, which was $21, and the Maria's bowl, which was also $21 with a Virgin surely temple and a diet pepsi. And an iced tea, and at the end of the meal, I ordered one bowl of their deep fried ice cream to share. The total came to $77. And some change, I think the pricing was way overpriced. I asked the waiter who was the terrible server. I mean, absolutely terrible. I had to get up 3 × 2 find him or another waitress. And ask for napkins more tortillas, and he never addressed me. He was very rude. He would plop the food down and the drinks down and walk away. Never every time I said thank you. I got no response, my fiancé even realized that he probably had a problem with me. Have been here a few times now- it is my favorite in UP. I tried the Marias Bowl today and it was fantastic! Service feels like family <3

Great staff. Good location and cute interior. Just the food was a little dry to me. The rice a little dry. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the best Mexican place I've ever been. I do believe they have the potential. And it would be a good place to eat again just I can't rate it higher

Went here from 4:30 to 6:00 pm tonight. Paid over $30 before tip for 3 draft Dos XX and a well tequila, which feels like a lot for a happy hour. Also wasn’t offered chips and salsa, which I swear the happy hour menu said they give you. Oh well. Place was okay, but probably won’t be back, which is a shame, because I life very close by.
