Marian J Mohr Memorial Library

Hosted a meeting in the downstairs conference room of the Mohr public library and Marissa was very helpful and accommodating. Great, friendly space.

Had a Great experience at the library this week! A wonderful librarian, Marissa, helped my son and I. Her passion and enthusiasm was contagious and refreshing!!! No sooner than we got in the car did my son ask if we could go back to the library tomorrow! Her excitement and kindness was impactful and very much appreciated!!!

Great staff. Always very clean. I wish they had a bigger collection of books, especially fiction. But I usually find something worth buying from the collection of books for sale.

Could have been great. I love the people who work there. Always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that is it. The way they set up this library feels like just a place to pick up a book and go. Not really for someone who enjoys reading and browsing. The children section is disappointed. Only books are available, sometimes they have couple events where the kids could build legos together and that's it. Other libraries have play areas or at least couple toys (legos, train tracks). This one has nothing, only small table for the kid to do art and craft. They have so much potential. We have to drive further since there is not much for the kid to do at this library. Maybe they could use some helps from the East Providence one. I wish it is better since it is so close to home but for now we have

The librarian started barking at me from the moment that I came in that there was no food and drink allowed in the library. I was holding a seltzer water. Library felt confined and guarded. There’s no one in their library, the water fountains are shut down, and they are getting precious about a sparkling water? Furthermore, by the time I sat down, I could hear the women at the front in desk in loud conversation the whole time.
