Maria Empanada - Riverview

Came in at lunchtime and wasn’t to busy was greeted and received my order quickly, I ordered two bbq and a chorizo empanadas. The crust is nice and light with some flaky on the inside the sauce is extra but it was also very good. The atmosphere is very relaxing with an Argentina flair.

I stopped by Maria Empanada to grab some empanadas for a customer meeting. First off, what a beautiful store. Upon walking in, I was amazed with the internal design and how clean everything looked. It gives you more confidence that what you are buying is of good quality and clean. I got a dozen empanadas that were neatly packaged in a box and each empanada is also labeled so it’s easy to tell what is what. Genius idea! They all tasted amazing and fresh. The empanadas were absolutely delicious—beautifully crafted and even stamped with the name, which added such a professional touch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with decor that perfectly complemented the overall vibe. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly helpful and informative. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone! ❤️

I am still eating my food, but I couldn’t wait to post a review! I am visiting Denver for the weekend and decided to give this place a try. I am so glad that I gave it a shot. I ordered the beef and the ham&cheese empanadas. Both were delicious, but the ham&cheese was my absolute favorite. Warm, soft bread, and decent size. I also ordered a mimosa. They provided fresh squeezed orange juice, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is beautiful. Definitely check it out and support!

Great cute place, I love the design. There are many empanada options. Loved the crust: not full of baking powder after taste as others. Cute desserts. As well as beer, wine, sparkling wine and soda options. Will definitely return again.
