Mar Y Fuego

I normally don’t leave negative reviews when food is decent, but I wanted to share my experience from 02/22/26. My family and I recently visited this newly established Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was okay, but it still feels very similar to the previous restaurant that occupied the space. For a new establishment, I expected some updates or improvements, such as additional seating or a designated waiting area, since there currently isn’t a comfortable place to wait for a table. Our waitress was polite and did a good job, however we didn’t feel particularly welcomed when we arrived, and no one explained the menu or checked in with us beyond taking our order. I noticed the owner or manager actively greeting and talking with several tables, which I understand is important when building

My boyfriend and I have ordered take out from here twice now and both times the food was delicious! The person who took our order was polite and well mannered, and the food was ready in 15-20 minutes as stated when I placed the order. I ordered the tostada de camaron and pulpo and my bf ordered the torre paisa. The serving sizes were perfect for the price. And the food was very good and fresh, which is super important when it comes to seafood. We will definitely continue to visit this restaurant often. Live Oak needed a place like this!

Mar y Fuego was such a great find! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, shrimp tacos, and fish tacos, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The salsa was also excellent and full of flavor, but the green sauce is SPICY! Great food and a really enjoyable experience overall. We’ll definitely be back! Staff was warm and welcoming.

Amazing !!! Ordered tostada de ceviche and it’s delicious. Takeout and very good presentation !!! 10/10 Recomiendo 100% está rica la comida
