I ordered albóndiga soup and the meatballs were visibly undercooked — pink/red in the center and mushy, not firm as fully cooked meatballs should be. When I politely brought this to the waitress’s attention, I was repeatedly told it was “fully cooked,” despite what was clearly visible. I then spoke with the manager, who was dismissive and continued to deny the issue, rather than acknowledging the concern or offering to remake the dish. As someone who has eaten albóndiga soup many times, I know what properly cooked meatballs look and feel like. This was not safe to eat. What’s even more concerning is being told this was acceptable — it raises serious questions about food safety standards overall. If this dish was served undercooked, it makes me wonder what else may be leaving the kitchen

While ordering takeout I explained my very simple order over the phone, I even repeated it three times to make sure they understood. When I got home and opened the food, it was completely wrong. I called and had them remake it, the lady at the front was very nice and apologetic when I went to pick my food up for the second time. And of course once I got home again, they somehow managed to mess my order up a second time.. all I wanted was a bean and cheese burrito and add carne asada. They put a crazy amount of cheese in the burrito, no beans. Unreal

Been coming to this local establishment since the mid 80's, great food n friendly staff.

This franchise is supposedly a Mexican restaurant yet have no idea what spicy salsa is. Why can't they make a chunky spicy salsa? I understand not everyone likes it spicy but I do. Almost every other Mexican restaurant serves spicy salsa but not Manuel's.

Went to dinner here 2/22/26 . It took almost 10 to get seated with no one in front of us. We were seated in the very back of the northeast side of the restaurant. Took a few minutes for chips and salsa to arrive. Then took about 10 minutes for the server to come and take our order. When the meals arrived my chimichanga looked a little different but I didn’t say anything. I ate about half of it, didn’t taste right. We finished and went home. At approximately 1:30 am I was awakened by a serious and sudden explosion of diarrhea. This continued until 5am this morning. I’ve been eating there for years. Horrible experience!! I will not be back!
