Manila Sizzling Wok and Grill

Found out about this place from a Ryan Trahan video, and I was so excited because it is super hard to find good Filipino food in Minnesota. Drove the hour from my hometown to try it with my family, and we were not disappointed. Sinigang, delicious. Pancit, delicious. Barbecue, delicious. We all let happy and satisfied. My kids cleaned their plates, and my husband was raving about it all day. As an added bonus, the man who took our order was incredibly kind and welcoming. 10/10 will be going back to try more of their menu, highly recommend!

The mall seems derelict, but it’s worth finding this restaurant in the food court. Good authentic Filipino food and friendly staff. We had the bistek tagalog and crispy lechon kawali with lumpia and both were delicious and satisfied our hankering for home cooked Filipino food. The halo halo was not too sweet and was the perfect way to top it all off. We didn’t get photos of our food because we just wanted to eat!!! The only reason why I’ve marked them down is because of the strange atmosphere walking through an empty mall.

I've been waiting for what seems to be an eternity for great Filipino food. And finally... Manila Sizzling Wok serves it up with comfort, love, and great taste. The pork belly sisig is luscious and just goodness through and through. I don't want to share it with anyone. The lechon and pretty much everything is also delicious. The owner and staff treat you like family. So grateful for this hole-in-the-wall comfort food shop.

First off, the pictures were misleading as these weren't the actual storefront at the Burnsville mall. It took us 2 days/ attempts to finally find it. Google maps also messed up the directions going there so we almost just gave up. (This can be corrected by retracing routes a few times going there until Google gets it) The food. They were delicious, true taste of home, and quite generous. However they tend to swim in fat/oil (sisig to be unsavory) The sisig was sadly not Kapampangan sisig which i truly missed) I missed a lot of Filipino dishes and many are not on the menu especially fish and vegetables. The food was simply amazing, and service was Even better. I got the #2 value meal and I reached more than just expectations. He let me and my friends try some different foods and was super happy to talk. Very friendly and humble guy. 1000/10 I’ll be back
