My son goes to MMA MASTERS and they happen to recommend a place for Coffee called Mangu.. I have been hooked ever sense. I never tried Dominican but let me tell you place is amazing for a small place. And its not your typical place. Very clean. I am a picky gringo and I 💯 approve this place!! Waitress at the front is top notice! I think the icing on cake is the owner is main Chief!! She is amazing. Thank YOU
Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious fresh food. I flew in from Chicago just to visit this restaurant
I recently visited Mangu Cafe Restaurant, and it delivered a satisfying and authentic introduction to Dominican comfort food. Located in the Hialeah area, the restaurant has the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere typical of neighborhood Caribbean eateries. The dining space is simple and practical, with the focus clearly placed on serving hearty traditional dishes that reflect Dominican home-style cooking. The menu centers around classic Dominican staples, with mangú naturally being one of the highlights. Mangú is a traditional dish made from mashed green plantains, usually served with eggs, cheese, or meats, and it captures the comforting character of Dominican breakfast cuisine. The version served here had a smooth texture and rich flavor that paired well with the savory accompaniments. Th
Right along the Palmetto, exit 103rd St, corner of 20 Ave W and 62 St Hialeah, lots of parking, loud music plus people talking, noisy, picadera is good but no longaniza on it, Dominican restaurants are like Cubans now, on certain days some foods, so Saturday no carne guidada no Sancocho, small portions, every main dish is $20 + ..the BEST COLDEST beer , only one desert, small flan not as good, longaniza is not real Dominican , Bacalao was great, about $40 per person…
