Why anyone would come here twice is bewildering. Was here for dinner. First time. Seated right away and then we weren't spoken to for another 20 mins. Walked by a couple times, but not acknowledged. When we eventually did get to order anything, the waitress was rude/gruff, made no suggestions, and took all personality out of the experience. When paying, we were notified that if you pay by card, you cannot leave a tip on the card. This is a good way to ensure you dont get a tip. Aside from the lousy service, chicken parm was over cooked. Overall, food would be better prepared at home. And the garlic cheese bread everyone raves about tastes like American cheese melted on cheap garlic bread. We will not return. I suggest Lib's in Elmira. Worth the drive over this place.

Ignored by staff initially, waited to be seated, 10 minutes to get drinks, 25 minutes for sub- par dog TV dinner quality food rude and obnoxious staff, cash tips only. Look at other reviews, the only positive reviews came from generational guests or local business owners both supporting the past for the present. It's may have been good decades ago but needs to update menu, staff, operations,and site. Probably best if they close up.

Upon entering we stood in the front door area until we finally went to the bar to find somebody to check us in. They seated us rather quickly. We waited approximately 80 minutes to get our food from the time we sat down. The food came out delicious and hot! Service was poor but not due to the waitress she was great but it was one person in the whole place so they're way understaffed. We finished dinner and then waited another 30 minutes to get our bill and be able to leave. I recommend lots of patience.

This Restaurant has been operating here by the same family since the 30s. If you like real homemade Italian dishes~ from the old family recipes ~ this restaurant will knock your socks off. From the Lasagna to the Spaghetti and Meatballs to the Garlic White Pizza ~ no other Italian restaurant compares. The atmosphere will take you back to another time when the railroad was running in the town and Frank was playin' on the radio. The prices are very reasonable too. .. It's fun to sit in the bar area where the bartender will tell you stories from that time if you just ask. They make super drinks and have great wine as well... I've been going here all my life and it's still my favorite Italian restaurant ever. :-)

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and great service. If you love the old fashioned places this is the spot. Definitely try the garlic pizza. World class.
