This is such a unique and special place. Every person we interacted with was genuinely enthusiastic and warm, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The food is fully vegan with a great variety of both savory dishes and desserts, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. They also have several fresh kombuchas on tap, and it was honestly the best kombucha I’ve ever had. I only wish I’d had more time to continue our wonderful conversation about coconut farming in Hawaiʻi and how it compares to what we have back in India. I highly recommend Mandala Living Food to anyone visiting Kauai—make sure to put it on your list when you’re on the island.

If you are looking for a culinary experience you must try Mandala! I make a point to try and come here every week on my day off because it’s my favorite place to eat on the island. Everyone who works here is so kind and the food is so fresh, healthy and full of prana! The creator, Micah, is really passionate about his offerings and has so much knowledge on the nutrients of each item and explains how the food is specifically prepared to retain those nutrients. In addition to the food being so healthy and yummy, it’s also so beautiful. No matter the day it’s consistently beautiful, and prepared with attention and love! Flew from the mainland to eat at Mandala living foods and was not disappointed. As a raw vegan it’s not every day you find a restaurant that offers a supply of options on the menu while the owner and people preparing the food are also in alignment with that. My partner who enjoys eating meat and has no intention of going raw was equally satisfied here and asked to go back after visiting the first time. Thank you guys for offering such a unique experience and absolutely delicious lunch, dinner and deserts. The kambucha is equally yum.

​This was hands-down one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had. They don’t rely on mock meats, choosing instead to highlight unique, local ingredients like those in the mung bean noodle pasta and the poi curry. ​Every sauce was incredibly tasty, especially the house-made chili sauces—do not skip those! You can truly tell the chef is passionate about their work; that level of care comes through in every bite.

Truly the best nachos I've ever had and tasted my husband's burger which was amazing as well with an incredible root beer on the side, Wow. The setting of Mandala is gorgeous in Anahola with a beautiful designed space. I highly recommend this beautiful eatery and you must have the apple pie to finish (and the strawberry shortcake). 11/10
