Manaao Thai Cuisine - West Sacramento

This is an unfortunate review for me to write. I’ve been a loyal customer here for just under a year. I’ve brought many of my employees and have even recommended this place to others. Over the past several months, the quality of the food and service has declined. A few months ago, I ordered takeout during lunch, returned to work, and found hair in my food. I called, and it was fixed immediately. The second time I ordered pickup, I again returned to work and noticed there were very few vegetables in my container. The third time was the same, and I specifically asked that a proper blend of vegetables be included, as the previous dish contained mostly carrots. Upon entering the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the inviting ambiance created by the dim lighting, which is perfect for a romantic date night. The atmosphere set an ideal backdrop for a memorable dining experience. Now, onto the food….absolutely amazing! What I appreciated most was the balance of flavors; unlike many Thai restaurants that lean heavily on sweetness, this place maintained a more authentic flavor profile. Each dish came beautifully presented, demonstrating a thoughtful attention to presentation that heightened my anticipation before the first bite. Licked the bowls clean!! Food was awesome, the whole group was commenting on how perfectly everything was cooked & seasoned. Barely had anything left to take home, and I was banking on this being lunch tomorrow so next time we’ll just have to get more! The Pad Thai, Panang Curry & Thai Prarang are where it’s at 😋

Great portions; very flavorful; next to IKEA so will be very helpful to either walk off the full tummy or winding down after a day of shopping.
