Mammas Place

My friend told me about this place. It came highly recommended. The food is great. Kind of a hole in the wall, but those are my favorite kind of places. The chips and salsa were both warm and fresh, which impressed me. I had the beef enchiladas and loved them. The beans and rice were good, and the tortillas are great too. I’m going to have a breakfast burrito next time. I heard they are really good as well, and BIG.

I visited Mammas on a Saturday for lunch. It was busy! Parking was difficult. The service was friendly, but a little overwhelmed. I received my chips, salsa, and drink promptly. The food took a while. It was all very tasty. All I can recommend is, don't be in a hurry. Momma prepares all the food from scratch, and that can take time. 😋

The place is small but has some very good tacos The beans have a homey taste, I left very full and very happy. If I'm in that area, I'll definitely come back again

What a great find! We were driving and saw a sign for Italy and got off the highway and found this cute little restaurant that looked like it was a place where mostly locals eat. It definitely is a local restaurant and super good food, though mediocre service as our server never returned after bringing the food to our table. After sitting down with menus, our server took our order. I had the shrimp taco plate with rice and beans. The shrimp tacos had onion, lettuce, and avocado in a soft flour taco shell. Delicious! The rice and beans were also good and the rice seemed different than any other rice I've had in any other Mexican restaurant. My mother had a street taco plate with beef fajita meat in corn tortillas since she has a gluten allergy. Her food came out quickly and was good, though
