Mama's Pizza Grille & Bistro

Past by this place numerous times and read the reviews. Finally had the opportunity to stop in. This appears to be more of a takeout type place, but they do have a small dining room. They were quick to get us seated and make sure we were comfortable. Very friendly staff. Typical pizza/Italian menu. The soup was tasty as well as the fresh garlic knots. Meatballs were delicious as was the red sauce. I had the baked ziti Bolognese and it was awesome. I will be back to try the pizza and other offerings.

Not the best pizza out there- but hey- pizza is subjective! There was nothing remarkable about this pizza …no bubbly crust, no gooey cheese , no crispy or thin crust, no crunch…just blah. The crust did have a slight sweetness to it, but that’s not something I’m looking for in pizza . You might like but it wasn’t for us!

Thin crust Average taste Large menu. Slices large enough to fold (if you know you know). At the time of this visit, there was a good deal on two slices and a soda. Mega fries definitely Mega, enough for 2 to 3 people. Visable from the street, but you need to turn off Marne Highway onto Crystal Av to access a paved small parking lot in the rear. Handicapped parking available. At the time of this visit, there were a couple of guys working there, going back and forth. It reminded me of a Brooklyn Pizzaria, but not. Everyone has their own experiences and opinions. This one is mine. Respectfully

Cute little place with great food! Stopped here randomly one day and will definitely be back. The pizza was good and so was the hoagie!

This hidden gem truly impressed me. Despite their impending closing time, they warmly accommodated us and the food was absolutely amazing. They happily fulfilled our special menu requests without any hesitation. Highly recommended for their excellent service and willingness to go the extra mile.
