Mama's Kitchen

This scenic roadside location offers a clean, covered outdoor eating area with lighting, overhead fans, and a television. We enjoyed a quick bite of good hot food. Wide variety of menu items including fried fish, Philly cheese sandwiches, chicken tenders, ribs, and good old-fashioned barbecue.

Awesome food. Very friendly service. And exactly what you would expect from this kind of place. Had my very first Southern fried okra and a sweet tea.

OMG!!! I absolutely love Mama's Kitchen!! Some of the friendliest people I've ever met and a very impressive menu!! The food was absolutely divine!! I had the Big Pig Platter with Brunswick Stew and tater logs. My husband chose the Brisket Plate with potato salad and baked beans. The ribs were very tender and just melt in your mouth!! The stew was good too (and it's hard to find some good stew in my opinion). And please try the strawberry lemonade!! All plates come with two sides and free refills on the tea and lemonade. And yes, this is a food truck but they have an outdoor seating area (with tvs) if you want to eat there.

Best ribs we ever ate! Literally, completely fell off the bone. They provided sauce, but I didn't put it on the ribs because they were sooo good without it. Tea was not as sweet as I normally like it, but it didn't take away from anything because the ribs were so good. The Mushroom Swiss burger & and bacon cheese burgers were good as well. We highly recommend!

Great experience! My husband was there a couple days ago and after talking to the owner.. he made me go today (Friday) to get Steaks fresh off the smoker comes w| a Papa size baked potato and side salad . Delicious food ! Disclaimer: I took the inside of the potato out and mashed it myself add the peppers on the side so don’t think that’s how it looks when you get it
