100/10 service atmosphere vibe. Food was superb!!!!! From fried fish to wings to jerk chicken. Highly recommend Will visit next time in DC Kids enjoyed fried chicken, Mac and cheese & collard greens

I’ve eaten here a few times recently and the thing I appreciate is how friendly and casual the vibe is. The food is definitely amazing! Mama Tee takes no shortcuts on quality. I’ve had the lump crab dinner portion and the lump crab sandwich. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely delicious!! I CLEANED my plate! I had the juicy jerk wings, Mac and cheese and collard greens. That Mac and cheese was amazing! Like your mama made it! The wings were perfection!! I mean so well seasoned and good portion sizes on everything! We dined in and they got my lil baby a booster seat! The dining area is a little small but I'll call it "exclusive seating"! Lol they were very friendly to my talkative baby girl and just a very warm environment. I definitely recommend coming!! I'll be back!

The food here is amazing!!! A lovely family owned small business, with incredibly kind and upbeat staff and delicious soulfood! Vegetarian friendly as well! I had the veggie platter with macaroni, green beans, and cabbage and each item was super flavorful and tasty!

I ordered a lunch special combo of wings and shrimp, but unfortunately, the food was cooked in old grease. Both items came out with a burnt coating rather than the golden brown crisp you’d expect. Considering I placed my order right at opening, I would have appreciated being told the kitchen wasn’t fully ready yet instead of feeling like corners were cut, almost like it was a rushed cooking competition. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent—friendly and attentive, which I truly appreciated.
