Mama D's Italian Kitchen

Wow! What a fantastic experience! We were greeted with warm smiles right from the start, and the service only got better from there. The food was easily a 10/10. I ordered the pizza, which was incredible, and everyone else in our group loved their dishes as well. I now fully understand why Mama’s Cafe is rated so highly. I accidentally spilled water into my wife’s pasta, and without hesitation they replaced it with a fresh dish—on the house. Their kindness and attentiveness to everyone in our party truly stood out. Samantha, our waitress, was exceptional from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Overall, it was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Cool outdoor area …very small, but still very nice. Awesome fountain which adds to the ambiance (photo taken). The service was great and the menu was fully explained. We went as a family and it was a good spot for kids as they didn’t seem to mind them (have a kids menu too with good options). The food was amazing and the prices for a bottle of wine was not bad. I would highly recommend this spot for a great tasting, great service, Italian dinner spot.

We had an amazing dinner at Mama D’s Italian Kitchen in Corona del Mar! The outdoor seating had a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. Every dish was delicious — from the creamy pesto penne to the rich gnocchi and flavorful pastas topped with fresh parmesan. The garlic bread with olive oil dip was perfect too. We’re all vegetarian, and they went above and beyond to make everything fresh and accommodating. Truly one of the best Italian dining experiences we’ve had — highly recommend!

My visit to Mama D's Kitchen in Corona Del Mar was absolutely delightful from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by Noah, whose exceptional hospitality immediately set the tone for a wonderful evening. I started with their Caesar salad, which was fresh and perfectly dressed with just the right balance of garlic, parmesan, and their homemade dressing. For the main course, I opted for their pizza, which was nothing short of spectacular - a crispy yet chewy crust topped with quality ingredients that clearly showcased their commitment to authentic flavors. The ambiance deserves special mention. Their outdoor patio creates a lovely, relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal in Southern California's beautiful weather. We came here based on great reviews and it didn't disappoint. Food was delicious and service was great. The price was reasonable. It was too bad that the restaurant was not very big and it was crowded. We didn't want to wait to be seated indoors and sit outside. There were heaters outside but they were not enough for all the tables. My friends didn't dress warm enough. Our server moved the heater closer to our table after the other table left (they came before us so they got the heater a bit closer to their table initially). Also, parking next to the restaurant was limited and we had to park on the street.
